The traffic spikes come from people visiting the site randomly right after I post. The blog must appear on a "recently updated" list somewhere.
What's up with the union-hating? Matt over at blogging.la is getting hammered for suggesting that workers at a ritzy LA movie theater should unionize because they can't afford to see the movies at the theater at which they work.

My favorite comment: "[U]nionizing theatre workers is not the answer. These people aren't abused - they know what job they're getting when they sign up." Huh. Guess only people who are abused at work deserve better wages.

Los Angeles is the least-affordable city in relation to home sale prices, incomes and interest rates. Just like New York and San Francisco, but with none of the perks!
No Macs for me until this is sorted out. But why is hardware DRM necessary for iFlicks? I thought everyone jumped off that bandwagon when Palladium got a bad rap?
